The DDL505-5HBS features IP55-rated protection against dust and water and is designed for use in demanding outdoor environments.

The lock is designed to operate in temperatures ranging from -25°C to 70°C.

Automatic Locking

Hall sensor technology allows the lock to detect when the door has been closed.

When Auto Mode is enabled, the deadbolt automatically engages after the door closes, helping prevent the door from accidentally being left unlocked.

Dual Verification Mode

For additional security, Dual Verification Mode can require two registered authentication methods before unlocking.

• Key tag

Smart App Functionality

The DDL505-5HBS works with the Philips Home Access App.

With the appropriate compatible gateway, smart functionality can include access to lock operation records, entry logs, doorbell notifications and security alerts.

Battery Powered

The lock operates using 4 × AA alkaline batteries, with battery life of up to approximately 6 months under typical testing conditions.

A 5V power bank can also be used to provide emergency power if required.
